Sugar Bowl yielded a sweet sweet record for the winning team’s head coach Kalen DeBoer. The winning team gets millions, to put it simply. The coaches are awarded for their efforts as well. DeBoer received a massive $450,000 bonus for a close-call 7 point win in the CFB semifinals against the Longhorns. Steve Berkowitz wrote on his X account “Wasington coach Kalen DeBoer can exhale and he’ll collect $450,000 bonus.”

This season has been profitable, financially and coaching wise, for DeBoer. The Huskies head coach has collected $1.075 million this season as bonuses. But, money will be the least of concerns for Deboer as of now, as they have to gear up for the upcoming National Championship.
