What will Troy Franklin’s fate be in the upcoming NFL draft?

Troy Franklin was impressive during his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine this year, as he was eventually ranked fourth among WRs with a total score of 88. He is rated with a 6.35 prospect grade and the comment, “Will eventually be a plus starter.” Given his speed and ball-catching ability, multiple sources report that the Kansas City Chiefs will be interested in him as they look forward to adding more resources to their young roster.

Despite a high score on athleticism, there are a few concerns, especially with his thin frame. Although he does well at the line of scrimmage, according to the report of NFL scouts, he may struggle against stronger defensive lines as it affects his ball-catching ability and consistency. Interestingly, this was evident when he suffered an injury in a Pac-12 Championship Game against the Washington Huskies. He is considered among the top WRs after the trio of Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Rome Odunze.
