This is what he said about Shedeur Sanders. “I think Shedeur’s fantastic. He, to me, is the biggest revelation of what’s going on the offensive line.”

Although the Buffs lost to the Trojans, Shedeur Sanders proved that they’re ready to be the worthy opponent of top-tier teams. The last game with USC rendered them a halftime deficit of 34-7, but Shedeur’s later performance outplayed the Trojans Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams, finally leading to an overall 48-41. Shedeur Sanders finished the game with 371 yards and four touchdowns.
Deion Sanders shows his appreciation for his QB son, saying, “I’m proud to be his father — his coach.” The CFB Insider also voiced his opinion that Shedeur Sanders is “absolutely deserving” to be among the “Elite quarterbacks in the Pac-12.”

During a game with the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 3, Shedeur Sanders broke the college football record with 510 yards and four touchdowns. While the last two defeats put them in a humbling position, the Jerry Rice Award winner is confident. He said, “I feel like we’re now settled in with the offense, with everything that’s going on, with the nuances of it. We went through real tests together as a team and in the system, so now we know, OK, what we like, what we don’t like and now I feel like this is the second half of the season and we’re really comfortable in it.”
