Aaron Rodgers Gets Candid on Backup Jordan Love Carrying the Packers Torch on His Unprecedented Departure: “I Feel Like An…”

Aaron Rodgers has been out due to a rib injury. In the game against the Eagles, Rodgers suffered an injury and had to exit the game. He was replaced in the game by QB2 Jordan Love. Love carried on in Rodgers’ place and was seen playing well, putting up a touchdown and 113 yards. While the Packers lost against the Eagles, Love performed well.

While on the Pat McAfee show, Love’s performance was discussed. Rodgers spoke about how watching Jordan Love made him feel proud. He spoke about the differences he noticed in the QB2 as compared to his playing before.

Aaron Rodgers was recently interviewed on the Pat McAfee show. he spoke about his QB2 who has taken his place during Rodgers’ injury. McAfee asked the QB1 about Love and how he has stepped up his game to shoulder more responsibility since Rodgers’ injury.

After Rodgers suffered the rib injury, Love stepped in for the Green Bay Packers and played in the game against the Eagles. While the Packers did lose, the QB2 performed well. He had one touchdown and 113 yards. He picked up where Rodgers left off and did as well as he could. Even Rodgers was impressed with his performance. He spoke about it on the McAfee show. he said, “I uh you know feel like an older brother watching him uh you know do well,” indicating his fondness for his QB2.

Rodgers also spoke about his thoughts on Love’s improvement rate from when he had seen him play. He spoke about it on the show and praised the youngster for his growth rate.

McAfee asked Rodgers about his thoughts on Love’s performance as compared to last year. Rodgers spoke about how he thought that the youngster showcased more confidence as compared to last year. He spoke about how he felt like the QB2’s older brother and was having a lot of fun watching him grow.

Rodgers spoke about the youngster and said, “what he’s been doing uh has been fun to watch I think a lot of the you know a lot of it I see through obviously go back and think about what I was thinking about as a third-year player but the jumps that you see coincide with him.” Rodgers spoke about the youngster’s development as compared to when he had first come to the league. With Rodgers injured, Love might get more chances to play. The question that remains is how will the QB2 perform with the A-Rod out of commission for now.
