NFL Week 5 action kicked off last night with the Los Angeles Rams defeating the Seattle Seahawks 26-17 to improve to 4-1 in the season. Jalen Ramsey started at cornerback for the Rams. He had four tackles, three of which were solo. He also intercepted a pass.
The most impressive aspect about the former Jaguars player is that he was never a traditional defensive player. Despite that, he has been consistently putting in great performances; especially against the Seahawks last night, which earned him enough plaudits from him his peers.

The LA Rams last night defeated the Seahawks in a dominating fashion. Safe to say, the players were very content with their performances. While everyone had great performances, if there was one player who was a class apart, it was certainly Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey’s teammate Matthew Stafford also agreed with this sentiment.
After throwing for his first touchdown in Los Angeles in a Week 1 victory over the Chicago Bears, quarterback Matthew Stafford stated, “It was cool for him to be out there celebrating with me. I was having fun, he seemed like he was having a good time, too.”

Ramsey’s confidence hasn’t waned in his sixth NFL season, and his shift from cornerback to all-around defensive back may have boosted it to new heights. It looks like Ramsey wants to shut down the whole offense this season after being bored and dissatisfied for so many seasons being on the sidelines watching rival quarterbacks play keep away as he locked down their best receivers.
Aaron Donald also echoed similar sentiments and was in awe of Ramsey. “Ain’t no player like him in the National Football League,” three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald said. “He can do it all.”
