Analyst Claims Tom Brady is Not Getting ‘Enough Credit’ for What He’s Doing with the Buccaneers

Tom Brady’s arrival in Tampa Bay came with certain expectations. The 43-year old veteran brought with him the hunger to win and a point to prove to all his doubters. But as we enter Week 15 of the regular season, how are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faring and how much of it has to do with Tom Brady?
Prior to the Atlanta Falcons game, the Buccaneers were on an 8-5 record. They are second in the NFC South and remain in contention to make the post-season. Brady has thrown for 3,400 yards with 30 passing touchdowns against 11 interceptions in 2020.

But he has been inconsistent at times. Critics have not held back in their assessment of the six-time Super Bowl winner. But is he really at fault for the mess that the Buccaneers find themselves in?

He said, “He’s not getting enough credit for what he’s doing. I agree. I agree with Coach and I don’t think coach has ever really been anti-Brady and I know the reports have come out that he didn’t want Antonio brown and that was Brady’s call and he wants no risk…maybe there’s some power struggle, and Arians has criticised Brady a couple times in the press, even took it back.”
“It turns out it wasn’t Brady’s fault when he did blame Brady after week one. But I’ve also pointed out every time Arians has pushed a button, it worked. He criticised Brady, Brady responded….He was critical of Brady again and Brady responded. Every time he’s pushed a button. He’s gotten the right response from Brady and the team,” Kellerman said on the ESPN show.

Brady and Co. are in need of a win against Atlanta Falcons today. With New Orleans Saints winning the NFC South Division, the Bucs need a strong end to the season to remain the race for a playoff spot.
