The situation at Watt’s house seems bonkers. He said that two wild coyotes have been jumping over the fence and trying to get on his property. Coyotes are hunters and they have a strong sense of smell. They use this ability to hunt smaller animals and find food. A coyote never hunts alone. We always see them in a pack or, in this case, a couple.
The coyotes at JJ Watt’s house have killed a rabbit in the driveway, according to him. If that is the case, they will come back to eat their prey. A wild coyote never leaves its food. Thanks to their amazing sense of smell, they always find where they hunted. So if they killed a rabbit, no one should intervene with their food. The coyotes will take or eat their prey and carry on with their day.
The defensive end will probably get more wild visitors around his house in the near future.

If you ever encounter a coyote, make a loud noise to scare the beast. Don’t turn and run away, the animal might end up chasing you. Spray water on the coyote with a hose. In case of an emergency, call 911. If you are an Arizona native, you can contact the Arizona Game and Fish Department office. They will come and help you deal with the situation. Maybe JJ Watt should give them a call.
