A white stage appeared in the middle of the field at SoFi Stadium after the first half. It looked like houses from the hood. It was a perfect tribute to represent where hip-hop comes from. The Super Bowl halftime show this year was a massive hit.
Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige did justice to hip hop. The performance began with Dr. Dre, and then it was passed on to Snoop Dogg. We got a big surprise after 50 Cent and Anderson. Paak also joined in. It Ended with Eminem performing his legendary song ‘Lose Yourself’. All the artists took center stage to end the performance together.
NFL represents change
Over its illustrious 100 year history, the NFL is known for representing change. So bringing hip-hop on board was a perfect choice. “This is what it’s about,” said Snoop Dogg. “This is what hip hop, and the NFL is supposed to be about: representing about a change, about moving forward, so we appreciate the NFL for even entertaining hip hop because we know there are a lot of people who won’t hip hop on stage.”
