Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen is an integral part of their team’s line-up. The 31-year-old American has been successful in adding more depth to the squad, with his impressive outings.

However, injury played spoilsport and, as a result, Jensen’s chances of competing in this season were slim. However, the Super Bowl Champion is likely to recover faster than expected, but not before the playoffs. This development comes as a respite for the Buccaneers side who will face the challenge of forming a young team, revolving around the experienced QB Tom Brady.

Ryan Jensen’s Injury updates

Jensen is likely to recover from his left knee injury in five to six weeks. If that happens, he could return to action this season during the playoff stage. The chances of his participation in the league stage are out of the question. The 6’4 player doesn’t need surgery, which is why he can return faster.

Jensen’s recovery is a major need for the Buccaneers side as they already have injury concerns in Aaron Stinnie and Tristan Wirfs, the two other key players in offensive positions. Earlier, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles had stated that Jensen may not recover soon from injury. He added the team will have to set up a new strategy to play in his absence.
