Mayweather went on to say, “And this is for any team that’s watching right now. We’ll make them a deal. If they sign AB and AB go through the whole season, no problems at all, then they gotta give us $20 million. But if he mess up, then we’ve gotta give them $20 million. So if any team want to match that, you know, reach us out.” It seems that the boxer was ready to bet on AB and his future, and wanted him to succeed in his life.
But Brown’s controversial way caught up with him and his relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr. And he even tried to start a feud with the boxer.

AB tries to berate Floyd Mayweather
After the boxer tried to back-up Antonio Brown, the ex-NFL star decided it would be a good idea to try to expose his friend and his alleged true colors. Last year, the duo were seen hanging out together. That is when a fan tried to get a picture together with both Mayweather and Brown. But the boxer jokingly asked the fan not to bring AB into the picture and take a solo picture with him. This did not seem to sit well with Brown, who took to Twitter to share the clip, writing in the caption, “Guess boxers not used sharing attention per source.”
Are Mayweather and AB still friends? Well, it is difficult to tell since the duo has not been seen together publicly in a long time. But while this remains a mystery, fans will be waiting in anticipation to see how the ex-NFL star now handles his ownership crisis of the Albany Empire.
