The NFL stars are enjoying a brief break before their hectic 2023 schedule begins in just a few months. This is the time to recharge the batteries and re-energize for the upcoming season. And Deshaun Watson knows exactly what to do with the time in hand. The controversial QB joined America’s favorite pastime in Cleveland to take full advantage of the ongoing offseason as he prepares to take the field for his first full season with the team he joined last offseason.

Watson couldn’t do much as the Cleveland Browns struggled in the 2022 season. He spent the first 11 games of the season out, suspended due to NFL personnel code violations. He would want to shed that image and take the team to the heights that the fans expect in the upcoming league season. But for now, he’s making use of the offseason time, by catching up on some other sports.

Deshaun Watson came down to Progressive Field in Cleveland to catch some MLB action. He shared a photo of him watching the Cleveland Guardians in action on his Instagram story. Not the best game he could have chosen to enjoy his day though.

The Guardians took on the Colorado Rockies in the first game of a three-game series. But it couldn’t have started on a sorer note for the home team. The Rockies shut the Guardians out of the game and won it 6-0. And Watson might have left thinking that he could have used the time to do something else to recharge his batteries. The game surely would have had the opposite effect on him.
