After his high ankle sprain, Los Angeles Ram’s wide receiver Cooper Kupp suffered a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, the star player’s setback in his recovery recently left fans and the team more worried than ever. Sustained during practice, this setback has left his status for the upcoming games uncertain. 

Kupp had phenomenal performances between 2021 and 2022. Kupp had 220 catches for 2,759 yards and scored 23 touchdowns in 26 games. However, It was during preseason training camp, that the WR was left with deep regret due to his injury. The player was impelled to take a leave and miss practice with the team. 

What’s the update on Cooper Kupp’s injury?

Kupp’s hamstring injury occurred during the preseason practice. As a result, he was not included in the squad for his preseason matches to take precautions. He is currently considered ‘day-to-day’ indicating that he could miss a few weeks. 

The WR did mention that he is taking each day as it comes and he is doing everything in his power to get back on the field as soon as possible.  Kupp is still going through the recovery process. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams Head Coach said that it is a “muscle strain” and will not return to action until he is deemed match fit.

Kupp had missed the final eight games of the 2022 NFL Season due to a high ankle sprain. Unfortunately, due to his hamstring injury, his first week of the 2023 NFL season seems to be uncertain.
