The 2020 NFL season is going from bad to worse for Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys. The NFC East franchise has been dealing with a bunch of injury woes over the last 8 weeks.
Franchise quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a double compound fracture in Week 5 against the New York Giants. Backup QB Andy Dalton also missed the last 2 games after suffering a concussion in the Week 6 loss to the Washington Football Team.
The latest Cowboys player to be added to the dreaded injury reserve list is rookie cornerback, Trevon Diggs.

The 2020 second-round draft pick was forced off the field in the fourth quarter during Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The rookie cornerback was seen getting some treatment on an ankle injury.
Recent MRI reports indicate that Diggs will now face an extended spell on the sidelines with a bone fracture. As per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Diggs could miss the remainder of the 2020 NFL season with an ankle bone fracture.
