After a slew of appearances in the news over the last few months, Sanders’ latest venture warrants a deep dive. The farmhouse has been dubbed ‘Oasis’ for its vast fields. Sitting on nearly 5,300 square feet of land, the farmhouse has been listed at nearly $1.5 million. A high ask, but for a structure of its size and luxury, some have called the price a steal.

Why has Deion Sanders been in the news lately?

Sanders’ name has been on primetime following his coaching stint at Jackson State University. His transfer from Jackson State to the University of Colorado has been a much-debated topic over the last few weeks. Sanders has been doing the rounds of the news lately to defend his decision to shift coaching jobs.

Originally working at the prominent HBCU Jackson State as a coach, many criticised Sanders for his heavy recruitment of athletes to the program before winding up and moving to Colorado in a shocking announcement. Much, if not all, of the recruits at Jackson State, were brought on with the hopes of playing under Coach Prime, Deion Sanders. But the recent debacle has put the spotlight on Sanders’ sudden decision to move onto Colorado.
