In an interview on Friday with Rich Eisen on ‘The Rich Eisen Show,’ Thursday Night Football NFL Analyst, Whitworth shared his thoughts on the upcoming slate of NFL games. When asked about his feelings regarding the Ravens and Lamar, particularly after Lamar’s significant $260 million contract and with star player Odell Beckham Jr. joining the team, Whitworth expressed his perspective. He mentioned that everyone has their favorite team, and he happens to be the Bengals. Taking that into account, he stated, “I love the Bengals and spent a lot of time playing there.”

He continued by saying, “Lamar Jackson, it’s all the talk this offseason. The deal gets done, but also they’ve added a lot of weapons.” Whitworth expressed his anticipation for the Bengals and Ravens matchup, highlighting the excitement of seeing both teams with their full complement of offensive weapons.

He concluded, “I still think I give the nod to the Bengals, just because I just honestly believe Joe Burrow is really that rare special quarterback who just for whatever reason finds ways to win games in big moments.”
