Despite Cooper Rush’s Instant Fame As QB1, Rolex of Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott Is Far From Being Replaced, per Analyst

Cooper Rush announced his arrival for the Cowboys in grand style. He walked in as a replacement for their number one QB Dak Prescott, who was injured during the season opener against the Buccaneers. However, ever since he formed a part of the team, the Cowboys did not lose a single game. Rush never let his team know about the absence of Prescott. He played with grit and vigor.
Dallas owners Jerry Jones spoke about keeping the QB1 position as a matter of ‘controversy’. Even though Prescott was the starting QB, they can’t ignore the performance of Rush, who is also a lucky star, according to many fans. NFL experts are also in a dilemma. Such was the youngster’s impact in three games.

Dak Prescott and the continuing money game
Meanwhile, NFL analyst Colin Cowherd had a different take on the two talented QBs. According to Cowherd, Prescott is the better among the two. However, he didn’t rule out Rush either. He compared Prescott with the huge prize tag for which he was brought into the Cowboys team.
“Dak, is better than Cooper Rush, but I don’t see there’s a big gap. You can run the exact same offense with Cooper Rush that you can run with Dak. It’s like a Rolex. Like I’m not a big watch guy. But if I want to spend like $15000 or $20,000 for a watch, or whatever a Rolex costs, I want to put it on my wrists that makes people should go, whoa,” he said. However, there is also a debate on performance factors and the need to change a winning formula. The 29-year-old Prescott was signed for a $160 million deal for a period of four years.
