On a scorching summer day, fate dealt an unexpected twist to Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Like fellow football star Aaron Rodgers, Kelce had recently developed an admiration for the iconic singer Taylor Swift and joined the ranks of her devoted fans. Destiny seemed to favor the 39-year-old MVP as he unexpectedly got the opportunity to meet his dream star and even take pictures with her at MetLife Stadium.

However, for 33-year-old Kelce, the day turned out to be disheartening as he had hoped for a memorable encounter with Tay-Tay, along with a surprise filled with affection. In early July, Kelce attended one of the songstress’ shows in Arrowhead Stadium leg of her Eras Tour. He had a unique goal in mind—to present Taylor Swift with a personalized friendship bracelet bearing his number. However, his plans were foiled as the backstage area was off-limits to all, even the Super Bowl-winning tight end.

Kelce expressed his disappointment on his brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, revealing, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings…. I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
