Aaron Rodgers welcomed another year in style. The Green Bay Packers quarterback celebrated his birthday by hanging out at an NBA game. A-Rod was spotted courtside as the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Los Angeles Lakers. The former MVP looked relaxed as he watched his team play. Apart from his successful career, Rodgers is also an entrepreneur as a minority owner of the Bucks.

The quarterback has inched another year closer to hitting the big 40. Like Brady, Rodgers has not given the NFL world any inclination of retiring any time soon. But, this season has been far from a reassuring one.

Can Rodgers redeem the Packers’ season?

There is no doubt that Aaron Rodgers will be forever iconic. The 39-year-old has accomplished much in his career. The four-time MVP showcased his extreme resilience by choosing to play through this season with a broken thumb that he did not want to be publicized. Additionally, Rodgers walked out of the Packers‘ game against the Philadelphia Eagles with broken ribs. The Packers currently hold an embarrassing record for a team of their stature, at 4-8. They sit below the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

Although the quarterback has been cleared to play against the Chicago Bears, there are questions that weigh heavily on the NFL world’s minds. Is this year’s mediocrity an indication of Rodgers’ descent into irrelevance among his current peers? Can Rodgers prove that age and injuries cannot stop him from giving more? The end of this season will provide a better picture to answer those nagging questions.
