Tom Brady led the Buccaneers to their win against the Seahawks. The Bucs took on the Seahawks in Munich, Germany. There was an impeccable environment and the players truly felt the love of the sport across continents.
While Brady is the star quarterback of the team, he played wide receiver during a trick play. The receiving back, Leonard Fournette, was throwing the pass to Brady. Unfortunately for Brady, this is where he was reminded of the wide receiver’s reality.

The Bucs’ star quarterback went wide for the pass and had a slip-up and was slammed into the ground. The pass that was meant for him was intercepted by the Seahawks’ cornerback Tariq Woolen. During the play, Brady was also flagged by the zebras for tripping as he ended up tripping Woolen.

While the Buccaneers were successful in the game, Brady felt that he needs to play better in the receiving position. While his fall would be termed as embarrassing by many, Brady took it with good-natured humor and tweeted about it. The trick play came after the Bucs had a comfortable lead over the Seahawks in the game.

In his ‘Let’s Go! Podcast’, Brady mentioned his willingness to improve as a wide receiver as well and said, “I’m a much better QB than I am receiver, that’s for sure. Maybe in this bye week, it’ll give me a little time so I can work on my bye receiver route.” The star quarterback truly believes that he should be able to work and develop wide receiving skills to be a threat during the game.

Brady’s play options
Brady believes that the game against the Seahawks helped them see an opportunity. With the presence of this opportunity, there might be a chance to create more plays.
On his podcast, Brady spoke about the possibility of another option during the game and said, “So, I gotta start making some of those plays or at least keep them from being bad plays”. Subsequently, it is evident that Brady wants his abilities as a wide receiver to be another weapon for the Buccaneers. The question here is will Brady be able to develop his abilities during the bye week to give the Bucs another weapon?
