Last Sunday, the Bucs suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Cleveland Browns, which garnered plenty of criticism for the Bucs team, particularly Tom Brady. Although Brady did not do much wrong in the game, he failed to close out the game, as he has done plenty of times in the past.

In a recent interview, former Buccaneers quarterback, Shaun King talks about Brady’s deteriorating performances this season. According to him, ‘Father Time’ is finally catching up to him and that’s the reason his performance graph is gradually going down.

King, who was the Bucs’ quarterback from 1999 to 2003, recently talked to CBS Sports Radio. When asked whether age is catching up to Brady, King said, “I think it is… You know the thing about Father Time, he don’t really give you like a two-week notice… Father Time just shows up and, you know, you go to make a cut you used to make and you can’t make it.“

King took the example of Colts quarterback Matt Ryan as well, who is also struggling with ‘Father Time’. “You got to throw a pass that you used to make and now, its ahhhh… [Brady and Matt Ryan] are trying to adjust on the fly as they’re deteriorating because of age,” King further said.
