“Dude. Just Let Me Go”: Aaron Rodgers’ Best Friend Is Unhappy With His Clingy Behavior

Aaron Rodgers became a New York Jet a few weeks ago. Since then, Rodgers has been making a conscious effort to integrate himself into a part of the Big Apple. And he has been doing a pretty good job at it. A few days ago, Rodgers went to the NHL playoffs that had the New York Rangers playing. Post that, Rodgers also attended the first game of the playoffs at Madison Square Garden. Throughout his journey of connecting more with the city, he has featured some of his new teammates.

Rodgers has also posted pictures of himself and his teammates together at the Madison Square Garden for the Knicks game. However, he had tagged someone peculiar in his picture which received some interesting comments from prominent NFL players.

With Rodgers going around NYC, he took to Instagram to post pictures with his teammate, Ahmad Gardner. In his caption he thanked his teammate and the MSG Arena for their hospitality. Furthermore, Rodgers had gone on to tag his old teammate from the Packers, David Bakhtiari.

Bakhtiari used to be Rodgers’ main line of protection as an offensive tackle. Therefore, after being traded to the Jets, tagging him seemed strange to fans, which led to some intriguing comments from fans. The comments also included words from Bakhtiari as well as his new teammate.

Rodgers’ latest post gets some attention from his old teammate

A-Rod’s post received mixed reactions from both his old as well as his new teammates. Bakhtiari went on to make a cheeky comment that said, “Dude. Just let me go.” However, his new teammate, Gardner, went on to praise Rodgers and said, “One of the best days/nights I had in a while man! I appreciate you, my guy.”

There were also some comments about how Rodgers looked happier and said, “Aaron looks happy and even younger”.However, some fans joked about Rodgers’ stake in the Bucks and said, “Rodgers why you at the Knicks game you know you’re a minority owner of the bucks.”

Lastly, some of the Packers fans really wanted Rodgers back and said, “Rodgers, we need you back, NOW !!!” All in all, the comments were a mixed bag. However, it truly does seem that Rodgers is blending well with the New York culture.

Rodgers’ continuous attempts to become a part of the new team are very commendable. However, it remains to be seen if Rodgers is able to bring on some of that spirit onto the field for the Jets in the upcoming season.
