His physique reminds how Tom Brady has kept himself for most of his NFL career. Interestingly, both the quarterbacks have a strange thing in common.
Colin Kaepernick may have made himself into an activist. But he has also kept the door open for an NFL return. Throughout the 2022 offseason, he has been the buzz. Colin Kaepernick is rigid in his diet.
According to JackedGorilla, Colin Kaepernick turned himself into a vegan in 2018. He cites health reasons for the turn and has stayed on a strict and organic diet. Both he and his girlfriend, Nessa Diab, turned themselves vegan.

Diab explains why on MTV2’s Facebook page, saying, “We did it together. Because we feel like, it’s true that… the more animal products you eat… your body becomes more acidic, which allows more diseases to basically breed within you. So the more alkaline state that your body is in, the less likely you are to get some type of disease. The more alkaline, the better you are health-wise, supposedly.”

Kaepernick follows a clean and organic vegan diet, high in plant-based foods. Colin also consumes 5-6 meals per day to provide his body with adequate calories. His meal plan allows him to eat every 3-4 hours. Kap uses supplements in his diet to provide protein to his muscles. It contains Vegan protein powder and BCAA; Both have a high amino acid profile.

But the QB does consume some meat to get his body the required protein. He has a mostly plant diet, which is explained in the book named the TB12 method.

The TB12 Method is plant-based, highlighting anti-inflammatory and alkalizing foods that are organic and produced locally. The diet is high in protein and free of gluten, dairy, sugar, trans fats, overly processed foods, and other ingredients. Furthermore, the diet rules out certain vegetables and fruit, such as nightshades and certain oils.
