Over a month since rumors of Aaron Rodgers wanting to leave Green Bay emerged not much has changed. The Packers’ star quarterback kept away from the public eye until recently he made a televised appearance on SportsCenter.
Even then, Rodgers dodged questions about his future. Only offering cryptic answers about the franchise and its philosophy, a lot remains unclear about what will happen next.
But Rodgers’ recent actions suggest that not all is well at the Packers camp. The 2020 NFL MVP missed his side’s organized team practice activities or OTAs.

While participating in such activities are voluntary, a key thing to remember is that ever since being drafted by the franchise, Aaron Rodgers has never missed a single OTA. Barring this season of course.
And it looks like his teammates, more importantly, his wide receivers too are rallying in support of the QB.

While there was no word as to why the wideouts did not show up to practice, one can take an educated guess about the same. No one wants to see Rodgers leave. Especially, not his wide receivers.
With 48 touchdown throws last season, there’s no doubt whether or not the Packers wideouts would want Rodgers back. Of the 48, Davante alone scored 18 touchdowns from Rodgers’ passes.
With the main core of wide receivers not showing up, backup QB Jordan Love had to run drills with a makeshift wide receiver party.
