Deion Sanders entered Jackson State in 2020 and revolutionized the entire football program. Coach Prime rallied them to glory with Shedeur and Shilo Sanders on the roster. But Sanders turned the tide after announcing his allegiance to Colorado. The former NFL athlete’s sons seemingly followed in their father’s footsteps.

Multiple reports have cited that Deion Sanders’ sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, have entered the NCAA’s transfer portal. The words came in the aftermath of Jackson State losing to North Carolina Central by a 41-34 score in overtime in the Celebration Bowl. They could follow their father to Colorado after a stellar record.

How exceptional are Deion Sanders’ sons?

Deion Sanders was a true pioneer in the NFL and had a spectacular legacy in the league. But his sons have come forward as solid torchbearers for the next generation. Shedeur Sanders, who plays quarterback for the JSU, is a SWAC Offensive Player of the Year. He set a single-season record with 3,720 yards, 40 touchdowns, and six interceptions. While playing in the center, QB Sanders directed JSU to a 12-1 record.

Coach Prime’s other son, Shilo, is a defensive back. For the Tigers this year, he racked up ten tackles and one interception. Shilo is a 6-foot, 195-pounder class of 2019 product and was rated as a three-star prospect. He spent his initial two seasons with South Carolina before moving to JSU with his father.

While there are no words for their next location, the Sanders brothers could wind up in Colorado. However, it is subject to witness.
