Aaron Rodgers has enjoyed a fine season with the Green Bay Packers in 2020. The veteran NFL quarterback has led his team to an 11-3 record heading into Week 16.
The two-time NFL MVP was at it again as he led the Packers to a 24-16 win over the Carolina Panthers last weekend. The visitors were not at their dominant best but did enough to seal an important win.

Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Patrick Mahomes all make the 2021 Pro Bowl shortlist
The voting for this year’s Pro Bowl event was concluded earlier this week. Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes received the majority of the votes as per latest reports. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce bagged the most votes after Mahomes.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came in at number five on the Pro Bowl Voting list. He accumulated roughly 30,000 fewer votes than the reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Aaron Rodgers, Mahomes and Wilson are in the running for this year’s NFL MVP award as well. A-Rod has already thrown for 3,800+ yards this year with 40 passing TDs against just four interceptions in 14 games this season. He also leads the NFL charts in passing touchdowns and overall passer rating as well.
The fan voting for the Pro Bowl ended on December 17, 2020. The accumulated votes account for one-third of the voting process for the Pro Bowl. Coaches and players will also vote on potential Pro Bowlers in the coming weeks.

Overall, the Packers received the third-most fan votes overall, after the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seahawks.
The Packers had three players lead their respective positions in fan voting. They included left tackle David Bakhtiari, outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith and long snapper Hunter Bradley.
Matt LaFleur’s team sit at the summit of the NFC North Division table at the moment ahead of rivals Chicago Bears whom they play in Week 17. Their next game this weekend is against Ryan Tannehill-led Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field. Can Rodgers lead the Packers to the Super Bowl Trophy before he decides to move on for a different challenge in the NFL? Guess we’ll have to wait to find out.
