It’s been a rough season for the exciting NFL prospect Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans. The AFC South franchise parted ways with Head Coach/GM Bill O’Brien after they went without a win in their first 4 games of the season.
Interim coach Romeo Crennel stepped in to steady the ship and led the Texans to 2 wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars in their last 4 outings in the league.
Watson started the season with enthusiasm after signing a 4-year contract extension with the Texans worth $177.5 million. The former Clemson Tigers quarterback has thrown for 2,300+ yards with 17 TDs against just 5 interceptions in 8 games.

Despite his individual heroics, the Texans sit third in the AFC South Division table behind the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts.
Another player who has been impressive in recent weeks is Texans wide receiver, Will Fuller. The 26-year-old wideout registered a 77-yard TD in Sunday’s 20-14 win over the Jaguars.
In doing so, Fuller has now caught a receiving touchdown pass in 6 consecutive games for the Houston-based franchise.

“Just giving this organization my all, coming to work every day, very unselfish player, do everything they ask, and then, just to be shopped around … I did feel a certain type of way.
“But like I said, I’m happy to be here. I’m happy to play with Deshaun and continue to try to get wins with this organization,” Fuller said via NFL Network.

“It would have been hell if they would have did that, for sure. Honestly. I’m glad to continue to play with Will. We’ve been making a lot of big, big plays since I came into this league, [and we’re] going to continue to do that as we continue to go the rest of this year and hopefully the rest of our careers,” Watson told ESPN.
The Texans will now play a hurting Cleveland Browns team in Week 10. The Browns were on a bye week. They had enough time to rest, recuperate, and strategize their short-term plan moving forward.
