Jennings, while discussing the topic, said, “When you jump over and look at Patrick Mahomes, we’ve never seen what it looks like for him to go without Tyreek Hill for an extensive period of time. We don’t know what that looks like.”
Patrick Mahomes is a talented quarterback who proved himself in the first game he started for the Kansas City Chiefs. Since then he has been playing beside talented WR Tyreek Hill. But, this season Hill will play against Mahomes as Chiefs traded him to the Miami Dolphins in a blockbuster deal that made him the highest-paid WR in the history of the NFL.
Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes both lost their trustworthy WRs Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill to different NFL teams
Jennings further said, “I say bailing him out because Patrick Mahomes, phenomenal talent, obviously skill set when he needs to play, and his back is up against the wall. What does he do? He scrambles, he does what he does best. He gets out of the pocket, looks down the field, and finds this cheetah running somehow wide open. That may not no longer be the case.”
Former Super Bowl champ Jennings thinks Mahomes will have to prove himself as he hasn’t played many games without Hill. It would be the real test for Mahomes to prove that he can perform with the same consistency without his favorite WR Tyreek Hill.

Aaron Rodgers is also in the same situation who lost WR Davante Adams for this season. Green Bay Packers traded Adams to Las Vegas Raiders earlier this offseason. But, it won’t be a challenge for Rodgers as he has spent a good amount of time playing without Adams, which did not affect his game.
