Dak Prescott has been under pressure throughout his career. It’s because he is the quarterback of one of the most famous teams in the world. Last season, he made a return from a serious injury and had a pretty decent season.

However, he wasn’t consistent. Prescott was found struggling in games against good teams. It raised concerns among Cowboys fans. Recently, NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe talked about the issues with the Cowboys quarterback. In front of Skip Bayless, one of the biggest Cowboys fans. Sharpe gave an honest assessment of Dak Prescott.

Talking about Prescott, Shannon Sharpe said, Dak has been inconsistent. So if I’ve seen far too many games like Kansas City, Denver, and Washington, then I saw like the New England Patriots. Here’s that record over the last three seasons. Dak is four in 14 against team that’s made the playoffs. He’s three and one against the eagles that’s made the playoffs”

Sharpe added, “He’s 1-13 against other teams that’s made the playoffs therein lies the problem consistency. He’ll give you a game where he throws for 432. Man, that that’s got to be a top-five quarterback. He needs to be in the MVP discussion. and then he’ll come back and stink it up like he did against the Broncos or he’ll stink it up like he did against Kansas City.”

Not many can disagree with what Shannon Sharpe said about Dak Prescott. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback has a chip on his shoulder heading into the next season. He will hope to prove all his critics wrong.

Dak Prescott has a very big season ahead of him

With Dak Prescott finally 100% healthy, it will be a big season for him. He had a fully healthy offseason to work, and Prescott would have rectified the flaws in his game. For him, losing Amari Cooper will be tough, but he’ll cherish that challenge.
