LA Rams fall prey to criticism

Colin Cowherd mentioned, “How average did Matt Stafford look? He looked small. He looked reluctant. He couldn’t avoid sacks. He couldn’t push the ball down the field consistently. So you know Allen looked like he was at a completely different jet stream than Stafford. So, let’s pivot now to Stafford. We heard it was a bad performance by the Rams, and when a team struggles offensively, it’s usually two reasons: one of them is your offensive line’s getting worked, so over the course of a season you can correct a lot of your problems.”

“For instance, Allen Robinson didn’t do much well. Stafford missed some camp. Robinson is new, they’ll be better down the line. Cam Akers, the running back, appears to be in the doghouse. He didn’t play, but he probably will as the season progresses. OBJ will come back. Stafford will have better nights,” He added.

Is Matthew Stafford going through any injury-related stress?

Since the last year’s offseason, Matthew Stafford has been going through elbow pain in his throwing arm. It is still one of the greatest yet quieter questions looming over the league. Not only because he is the cornerstone of the defending champions, but because they have a genuine prospect to improve this year.

Despite the pain-related issues, Stafford feels game ready and has ‘no limitations’ in his arm. It would not prevent him from resisting this season. Stafford thinks he is all in despite concerns about his elbow. Even though he could not live up to the mark in the first game, the QB will have more opportunities to show up and win.
