“I Love You. I Just Wanna Pursue You”: OPOY Cooper Kupp Turned the World Upside Down for Wife Anna Kupp When the He Proposed His Love for Her

Anna Kupp revealed that her husband and LA Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp proposed his love to her in the sweetest way. She said it was crazy and thinking about it brought tears to her eyes to this day.

Anna Kupp was guesting on Kelly Stafford’s podcast ‘The Morning After With Kelly Stafford’. Kelly Stafford is the wife of Cooper Kupp’s teammate and QB Matthew Stafford.

Cooper Kupp proposed to his wife in a unique fashion

Anna Kupp revealed she had been interested in Cooper, but thought he was in a relationship with another girl, leading to her thinking of letting it go. She said, “I saw that he had a picture with like another girl on his Instagram or he had been tagged. I didn’t wanna be a homewrecker.”

However, she had a nagging doubt that there was something on Cooper’s mind, too. She told one of her closest friends that “I just feel like God’s just putting him in my heart.”

The day she was speaking to her friend about her doubts and fear, however, Cooper sent her a text message, confessing his feelings for her. “Cooper sent me a long paragraph saying I love you. I just wanna pursue you. It was like kind of crazy… I think from that point on, we just kinda nailed it.”

Anna also mentioned to Kelly that she is quite competitive with her husband. She recollected an incident from college when they both became extremely competitive during a game of racquetball.

Anna and Cooper Kupp married in 2015. In a story, Cooper mentioned that every evening after football practice in college, he would drive across the East Washington campus to the restaurant where Anna worked her first job.

Cooper has admitted frankly that if it wasn’t for his wife, he would not have been the NFL star he is now. It was his wife who worked and subsidized them during their college years so Cooper could focus full time on football practice.

Kupp was named Super Bowl MVP and Offensive Player of the Year in the 2021 season.
