Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews give out the goals that every couple would envy. The high-school sweethearts have come down to the part where they tied the know and begin a happy family. But every relationship has its own set of troubles that the couple goes through. Brittany revealed one such moment where she was having a rollercoaster ride of emotions after finding out she was pregnant.

Brittany Matthews was doing a question-answer session on Instagram Stories and was answering questions from her followers. One follower asked how did she break the news to Patrick Mahomes that they are expecting a baby soon. The mother and fitness trainer revealed she was freaking out, But Mahomes was very supportive.

Matthews mentions, “Actually, once I read the pregnancy test wrong. I went out there and I told him, “Hey, I just took a pregnancy test. It’s negative, we’re good to go. ” And then I had that weird feeling, and I went back in, and when I read it and it was positive, I just started crying and freaking out. And he kind of caught on and came to the bathroom, and then my friends left and we kind of had our moment, and he was just so sweet and so supportive and just so excited about it, so you know, things have just been great ever since.”

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews went through the odds and had the baby. Finally, on 20th February 2021, Brittany gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The couple named her Sterling Skye Mahomes, who turned one this year.

After Mahomes and Matthews tied the knot in March, the couple made yet another exciting announcement just months after. The QB announced on Twitter that his household is awaiting their second child. Little Sterling will now have a new sibling and some elder sister responsibilities. To hype the moment, the couple also revealed the gender of their upcoming family member.

In June, the Mahomes family held a gender reveal celebration. In the clip shared by Brittany, squirt guns filled with colored water would reveal the gender of their next child. The water discloses their next baby to be a boy. Patrick’s exuberance was off bounds after the reveal. He ran to the pool and jumped right in after hugging his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr.
