Many know the uber-famous model and activist Gisele Bündchen for her strict professionalism and work ethic. It was only through hard work that she became the highest-paid model for fifteen years. And also appeared on over 1,200 covers of magazines. However, to achieve all the unbelievable success that she has, the supermodel had to guard herself. Bündchen did not allow herself to show her vulnerability for a commendable reason.

After a modeling agent from Elite Modeling Management discovered her at 14, the former Victoria’s Secret angel moved on to dominate the fashion world. She became the face of many luxurious designer brands, like Dolce & Gabbana and Carolina Herrera. Although a lot of perks are involved for models, they always have to be cautious in the highly competitive field. That is the modeling world.

Because Gisele Bündchen started modeling at a very young age, she had to shield herself from the outside chaos. And the young, ambitious model had the fire to take over the runway and become the best. But in order to do that, she created a persona for herself. The tough Gisele. She was “the tough, strong and professional” self.

The Brazilian beauty said in an interview, “If everyone you have vulnerable I was then…it’s you know, exposed to like having to feel so much and I felt like it was kind of safe to be with this you know religious-out persona to be the tough one.” Although the world experienced a guarded and tough Gisele Bündchen, her family and close ones knew she was like “melted butter.”
