Aaron Rodgers issues a warning

Aaron Rodgers spoke to the media after the Jets blew the Packers away at home. And he issued a strict warning to everyone on his team in front of the press.“I’ll be walking around with a watchful eye, making sure we’re all taking care of our business and thinking about things the right way. We’ve got to watch our language and the kind of energy we’re manifesting,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers also gave his thoughts on the suggested wobbliness in the Packers squad this season.“Only if people are breaking rank. It’ll be interesting to look at the comments from all of our guys and coaches. Hopefully, we stick together, that’s the important thing. Until I see us breaking ranks, I’m not going to say there’s any wobbliness going on,” the QB said.

Rodgers wasn’t happy with what happened in the Packers’ locker room last week after a loss to the Giants in London. His statement on Sunday is him doubling down on the comments he made last week.

It all started when cornerback Jaire Alexander said he was not worried about the loss to the Giants. According to him, the worry would be if the Packers lost to the Jets. Such comments and the echoing of such rhetoric in the dressing room made Rodgers angry. He had criticized such comments at the time, saying that talking in such a way is not winning football.
