Kansas City Chiefs signed Josh Gordon on 27th September when he was fully reinstated in the NFL. And since his signing, Gordon has impressed everyone on the team in the very first week.
His form looks so impressive that he might make it to the active roster within a week’s time, according to sources. The 30-year-old has been reinstated to the NFL and signed to the Chief’s practice squad after a long suspension because of the league’s substance abuse policy for the fifth time.

Josh Gordon a perfect fit for the Chiefs
Even though he was barred from playing in the NFL since December 2019, he seems to be in a pretty good shape. The hope was to let him practice for a few days with the squad, work on his speed and composure, and then join the 53-man roster.
However, the wide receiver seems to be well prepared for the job. When asked about his performance on the practice field, coach Andy Reid replied, “He looked in pretty good shape. He’s got less body fat than I do.”

The Chiefs’ low-risk signing seems to be an excellent investment for the rest of the season as they got just the player, the team and Patrick Mahomes lacked, a heavily built receiver. His 6’3 and 230 lbs presence on the pitch is very effective.

He’s about to prove himself valuable this season
Chiefs quarterback is all praises for the new Pro Bowler. He is a great addition to the team and will provide crucial outputs at times for the QB. “He’s a big receiver,” Patrick Mahomes told reporters this week. “Even if he’s covered, he’s not covered. You can kind of throw it up there and he can make plays.”

Gordon has a smooth record throughout his disjointed nine-year career in the NFL. He has averaged nearly 20 yards per catch with the Seahawks and about 15 yards with the Patriots in 2019. Josh has always been considered as one of the most lethal receivers on the field and looking at his current form. He is about to demolish whoever comes between him and the end zone.
