Running back Giovani Bernard has never won a Super Bowl title yet. But joining the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2021 NFL season, all that could soon change.

The 29-year old running back was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2013. Bernard’s spell with the Bengals got off to a good note. Piling up the rushing yards, him and the Bengals enjoyed three winning seasons on the trot.

But since then, Bernard and the Bengals have failed to make the postseason. Thus joining the reigning Super Bowl champions is a something the running back is eagerly looking forward to.

Bernard, was quick to note how the prospect of working with quarterback Tom Brady was too good to pass up on.

Talking about his decision to join the Tom Brady led Buccaneers, Bernard said a stellar recommendation from his friend and Brady former teammate James White was enough to convince him.

“I’ve obviously talked with him (White) when I was picking the team that I wanted to go to. He had only great things to say about Tom Brady and his work ethic and everybody knows that. For me, it was a no-brainer,” Bernard added.
