With the NFL transforming into a younger and tougher league, the coach market is following a similar trend. Bill Belichick is the sole outlier in the coaching industry as he continues his half-a-century career in the NFL. But he hasn’t won a super bowl since Tom Brady left the Patriots. It’s telling when 6 of your 8 super bowl wins comes with a sole QB and it’s harder to repeat the wins when he leaves.

That’s exactly what Belichick is experiencing, and his failure to succeed beyond Tom Brady might end up costing him his job. With reports suggesting sparks are brewing as Robert Kraft will have to consider replacement options for the 70-year-old coach.

Broussard says, “Belichick is not winning another Super Bowl I’m saying that right now.” He goes on to add why Kraft will let Belichick continue at the Patriots by saying, “I think Kraft let him Coach this year. And I think you want him to break down Schuler’s record, uh he needs 18 more victories.”

Broussard believes Kraft will work with Belichick so he can break the record set by Mike Shula. The host goes on to add, “you sit down with Bill you start planning an exit….  Bill I want you to break down Shula’s record in our uniform. But then we start looking for a way we want to go in…. And we would like you to retire, not we don’t want to fire you.” The news and speculation comes days after Robert Kraft announced his invitation for his former star to join the Patriots.
