Carson Wentz is still looking to find a new job in the NFL. The 30-year-old QB last suited up in the Commanders’ Week 17 loss to the Browns. He is still a great option for many teams looking for backup QBs, but his ‘hunting’ trips seem to have dampened fan support for him. But while he continues to receive backlash for his Bear Hunt, the hunting community has come out in support of one of their own.
Just a few weeks ago, Wentz found himself at the receiving end of heavy criticism from football fans and activists alike, after he posted a photo of himself next to his ‘prized’ kill, a 300+ lb Black Bear, during his hunting trip to Alaska. As he continues to deal with the jeering and criticism, members from within the hunting community have come out to lend their support to the Super Bowl champion.
