Hawaii-born NFL quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been in the headlines all week. After making his NFL debut off the bench last weekend, the Miami Dolphins star will be making his full debut in the coming weeks.
However, head coach Brian Flores is not too pleased with how the news made it to the media before he could even talk to his own players. Flores added that he will have a word with his players, especially first-choice QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, and clear out the issue.

Miami Dolphins will hand rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa his full NFL debut in Week Eight. The highly-rated youngster was handed his NFL debut on the weekend in the 24-0 win against the New York Jets.
“We feel like through practice and meetings and walkthroughs that he’s ready. We feel like that’s the best thing for the team,” Flores said via Adam Beasley.

While talking about veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, Flores said “Fitz has done a great job. He’s been productive. His leadership has been great. It’s not an easy decision.”

The Dolphins have a ‘Bye’ in Week Seven. Coach Flores will use this time to chalk out the finer details of Tagovailoa’s game. The former University of Alabama quarterback will get his first NFL start in Week Eight.
The Dolphins will host Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams at the Hard Rock Stadium in November. The likes of Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey will definitely give Tua a hard time on his debut.
