Cowboys‘ executive Stephen Jones said they have a plan to extend their QB Dak Prescott’s contract in February. Recently, when asked about it, considering recent deals of Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts, Prescott said he trusts the team and his agent to handle it. He’s focused on improving his performance and analyzing his interceptions from last season. Furthermore, the Cowboys have actively pursued a “new star” from the Houston Texans who share Dak’s passion and his ‘born leadership’ ability.

Prescott successfully guided the Cowboys to win two more division championships and was selected to participate in the Pro Bowl on two occasions. In 2022, he received the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.

Despite missing four games in the previous season, Brandin Cooks demonstrated resilience by recording an impressive stat line of 57 receptions, 699 yards, and three touchdowns. Throughout his NFL career, Cooks has consistently achieved a minimum of 42 receptions in all nine seasons and has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in six seasons.
