While several teams have already started to announce their dates for the camps, the Chiefs already delved into their second preliminary practice sessions at Missouri Western State University. During the camp, when rookies and veterans sweated it out on the field, star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes had an entirely different thing in mind.

The Chiefs have shared several stories on their Instagram page from the second day of training. From athletes arriving at the field to rookie RB Isiah Pacheco dancing to the rhythm, the event has been quite eye-catching. Nevertheless, the 2x MVP did his own thing on the ground, with a huge smile on his face, while trying to imitate the NBA legend, Michael Jordan.

With 10 days left in the month of July, the 2x MVP has already become the talk of the town with his recent ventures, while also dominating the cross sports scene. Following a massive victory against the NBA legends, Mahomes treated himself to an extended vacation in the mountains with his family, with a brief break before the storm starts. Soon after, his famous docu-series got released, turning heads all around the community. Now, as he delves into practice sessions, Mahomes is focused on looking good while doing it.

In a recent post shared on the Chiefs’ page, Mahomes can be seen all geared up for practice. With a smile on his face and a football in his hand, he stood in a familiar pose, mimicking no other than the 6x NBA champ. Both of the pictures share a similar vibe, with a caption penned on the page that read, “Like MJ.” The 2x MVP can be seen donning a yellow jersey, which basically indicates a ‘no contact player’

Thousands of fans adored Mahomes in the comments for his playful and stunning pictures, showcasing their excitement for the upcoming season. As day 2 of their practice session concludes, there were other instances from the camp that also attracted fans’ attention.

The running backs stole the show

The Chiefs’ second day of training wasn’t much different from their first one, as it was restricted to rookies and quarterbacks, with only a few renowned players. A total of 32 players attended the practice, however, RB Isiah Pacheco was the one who caught everyone’s attention with his yellow non-contact jersey, to indicate that he was injured. However, it might not be concerning news, as the RB was spotted moving freely, hinting at his recovery.

A Mike Edwards also stole the show by picking Mahomes via tip drill. Furthermore, RB Deneric Prince was spotted dominating the field with a breathtaking touchdown. As the season draws near, there are still various things to unfold. The Chiefs are looking really good with their improved roster, and a courageous quarterback.
