New York Jets Face Another Massive Blow Moments After Aaron Rodgers Goes Down With Unfortunate Injury

The OTAs have always been a part of off-season team training that builds new bonds between teammates and tests the capabilities of a team. However, for the New York Jets, the OTAs have also brought on a slew of injuries for their players. The Jets organization has gone through major changes with its main players right now and the OTA is crucial for them. However, with Aaron Rodgers already being injured, another injury has scared the Jets.
Interestingly, the injured player is an old teammate of Rodgers from his Packers days. Allen Lazard, one of the Jets’ new star wide receivers, suffered an injury during one of the OTAs. As NFL’s trust Insider, Dov Kleiman shared the news on Twitter, it went viral. Since then, fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Lazard’s collapse.

Lazard recently was reportedly injured during the OTAs. He went down on the field during one of the practices and had to be carried off the field. After he was carried off, he hadn’t returned back to the field.

Lazard’s injury report came shortly after Rodgers reported having a slight injury in his calf. He reported having a slight ‘tweak’ in his calf.

After the news of Lazard falling went viral, fans took to Twitter to talk about how it was so unexpected considering the injury that had just happened to Rodgers. They took to Twitter to react to the injury. One fan mentioned how they hoped that the two players are fine.

All in all, it seemed like the Jets’ OTA has hit a few bumps. Interestingly, these include two of the best players who’ve come from the Packers.

While the players have gotten injured, there have been no signs of anything serious or season-ending. It only remains to be seen how the rest of the offseason will be going for the players.
