NFL Analyst Suggests Seahawks Have ‘No Choice’ With Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is coming off a career reviving season. After several unsuccessful stints with various franchises, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took a chance with Brown. And he repaid their faith in him by putting in solid performances with the franchise.

Brown was a key figure for the Buccaneers as they made their incredible run to the Super Bowl last season. However, Brown could be sporting new colors next season. According to recent reports, Russell Wilson has asked the Seattle Seahawks to sign Antonio Brown for their offensive unit.

NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky spoke about the Seahawks bringing Brown in; however, he believes that the franchise should waste no time considering it and should jump at the first chance they get to bring him in.

“Well, Seattle has no choice, they have to sign AB. If Russell Wilson is telling the Seattle Seahawks that he wants to sign AB, then they have to.

“Because if they want to keep him happy, and keep that relationship at least starting to mend itself, then they’ve got to listen to what Russell wants. And if it impacts their football team positively, which AB would, then it’s a move that they have to do.”

Antonio Brown to Seattle?

Orlovsky added that the Seahawks do have other, more pressing concerns. They have other positions that they need to fill up, such as an offensive lineman and a tight end.

However, the Seahawks can help improve the relationship between themselves and Russell Wilson by bringing in Antonio Brown. They can show Wilson how important he is to the franchise.

“Do they need an offensive lineman more? Yes. And do they need a pass-catching tight end more? Yes.

“But if they don’t sign AB, and Russell Wilson is being outspoken that he wants him, that tells us everything that we need to know about where the relationship stands and how much they value or are fearful of the consequence of not giving Russell Wilson what he wants. So I think Russell Wilson has to try and sign AB.”

Brown will be available for a decent price, as he is no longer the player he once was. But he showed that he can continue to be a key player on a championship team.
