The Chicago Bears did not have a spirited season. The franchise has failed to capitalize and make its playoff dreams come true. There are concerns over the franchise’s inability to win games, and Justin Fields has often gone under the radar. However, not everyone despised the quarterback. An NFL legend has backed Fields as the Bears’ playoff hopes turn to dust.

During the Parkins & Spiegel show, Hall of Famer and analyst Terry Bradshaw joined Danny Parkins and Dave Wannstedt. They discussed Justin Fields’ development after the franchise’s fallout from the playoffs. Bradshaw sees the best in Fields as the evolution continues.

Terry Bradshaw mentioned, “What they’re doing now, for his development, this is what he does best. And I think a good coaching staff adjusts an offense to their personnel. You have to. [The Bears] started out not doing so well. They started getting him outside, had read, the run-pass option RPO and what he has basically done, kind of like at Ohio State, fake, ride in, read the linebacker and the end coming down or going up and then pull back and throw it or give it off or run with it. It’s been successful.”

“In time, though, as he adjusts to the NFL coverages and his reads, it’s important that he gets comfortable from the pocket and then uses his great athletic talent that he has to escape and then make plays outside,” He added.

Bradshaw added that Justin Fields is entertaining to watch since he is fast as anyone. He throws a stunning deep ball. But Fields must learn how to get it effectively from the pocket.

Justin Fields got an edge with the most explosive roster

The Chicago Bears are coming off a loss to one of their divisional nemesis and entering their bye week. Their season did not stand out, as the franchise was able to secure three wins and ten losses. However, the franchise stands out as a leader in a specific statistic. The Bears may miss out on the playoffs, but they stand out as one of the most explosive teams.
