The NFL is exploring the virtual world since the beginning of the season. It began when they announced their collaboration with Dapper Labs in a deal to create exclusive digital NFTs out of some memorable clips of the game. Since then, the league has taken its first step to enter the NFT world.
The NFL has said to pair up their purchased tickets at select games with “Virtual Commemorative Tickets” which will then be sent as NFTs to eligible Ticketmaster wallets, according to their recent press release. And so with that, the fans can now own a certain clip of the game of their favorite players and plays.
