Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers once again fell short of reaching the Super Bowl weekend following Divisional Round exit. Despite playing a great first half, the Packers’ Special Teams did capitulate during the most important game of their season. Once again, QB Rodgers will be the center of attention in the Packers’ inability to beat a gritty 49ers team.
It was really a tale of two halves as Rodgers and Packers led San Francisco by 7-0 at the break. The 49ers did manage to get a block on the Packers’ field goal attempt, which did become the big turning point. The momentum now firmly did shift as San Francisco’s defense did end up sacking Aaron Rodgers 5 times on the night.

Aaron Rodgers succumbs to the 49ers again
Despite being an outstanding QB, the San Francisco 49ers have become Aaron Rodgers’ bane in the postseason. Both NFL fans and analysts did take to Twitter to voice out against the former Super Bowl champion. The Packers fans did endure a hard time following a bad performance by the players. They did show up in numbers to support.

The Packers did really struggle against a resolute 49ers defense who were just too hungry for the victory. Despite trailing early in the game, their dogged determination in the second half did make it easier for them to take down Rodgers. The confidence from their defense did translate to the offense as Deebo Samuel once again led from the front. Kicker Robbie Gould was again clutch for the 49ers as his field goal did seal the Packers’ elimination.
