However, as per new reports, the 33-year-old was battling a partially torn lat near his right shoulder. Apparently, he played on Thursday night football with the injury. The QB also entered the last three-quarters of the previous game against the Raiders with the injury. After the news broke, several Twitter users expressed their concerns.

What happened to Russell Wilson?
Russell Wilson suffered an injury at the beginning of the second quarter against Las Vegas. He threw two touchdowns and ran for another in that game. Wilson did not practice until Wednesday. He was listed as questionable with a shoulder strain on the injury report.

However, the superstar played the game, and it did not help the team at any level. Speaking in a presser, the Ohio-born stated he let the team down. He added the Broncos will bounce back from the loss against the Colts. Wilson said he will play better in the next game. What is next for Wilson?
As per sources, surgery is not necessary for Russell Wilson. He is expected to be game ready against the Chargers. However, Wilson might not be at 100 percent, as doctors say the injury may last for a couple of weeks.
He received an injection to his shoulder on Friday. The talented star completed 21 of 39 passes for 274 yards in the losing game. He recorded two interceptions, but no touchdowns. Wilson will aim for an improved show and a faster recovery.
