It was a wild roller coaster ride for Coach Sanders for the past months. The Hall of Famer is getting back to his everyday life after undergoing surgery to rectify blood clots that he suffered in his left leg. The emergency surgery happened last month and was the only way to evade the looming risk of amputation of his leg. After being released from the hospital earlier this month, Sanders is taking one step at a time as he gears to jump back to his coaching duties
The 55-year-old has kept his head above with unwavering resilience and strength throughout the ordeal of life. He continues to uphold his resolute as he gears up for the life ahead finding respite in a revered heavenly figure.

Sanders is grateful for his source of solace
An ardent Christian devotee, Sanders finds solace in his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, the heavenly entity. In an Instagram story, Coach expressed his deep gratitude; ”I am so thankful for God’s patience with me”. His faith has been a constant source of support and strength for Sanders throughout the ups and downs of life.
Even hours before heading to the surgery, Coach reaffirmed his trust in the power of prayer, as he jotted down; “Who do Trust, your circumstances or God ? I choose to trust God every day of the week that ends in Y. I’m not keeping count but Man, Woman & Child has let me down in the past but God hadn’t . I’ve been wrong but God still treated me right. When many of my enemies tried to kill me God was there to protect & build me. God has never forsaken me or Mistaken me therefore I will never deny him or cease to love him endlessly.”

Fueled by his beliefs and resilience, Sanders is flipping the switch for a fresh start and it looks promising too.

A promising start
It’s been truly a turnaround for the coach after turbulent times. Since his return, he has struck a deal with the sportswear conglomerate Nike rumored worth $10 million USD annually. The announcement came after Sanders posted a picture on his Instagram donning his iconic Air Diamond turf paired with a Nike long-sleeve t-shirt.
Adding to the positive vibes, Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes also showed signs of revival. Just a month ago the team sold out 11273 tickets on a single day, shattering the team’s highest record in history. Recently Coach posted on his social media sharing the news that the first batch of tickets for the team was sold out within just an hour.
