While the dominant resurgence of Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs got all the attention, there was one more thing that garnered a lot of attention. During the second quarter of the match, a scissor was found in the middle of the ground. YES, you read that right. A scissor was found in the middle of the ground during the second quarter.

Las Vegas Raiders linesman finds scissors in the middle of the ground

Do you remember when it all changed for the Chiefs?

As soon as the scissors came under the linesman’s notice, the play was stopped momentarily for obvious reasons. While the good news is that no one got hurt, the alarming news is how the scissors reached the field in the first place? Was it malpractice by one player to get an unfair edge over the opposition? Or was it a silly mistake by the field maintenance officer? Whatever it is, let’s hope to never see such disturbing things on the field again!

Another impressive aspect of his play against the Raiders was the fact that his passes didn’t get intercepted even once by the Raiders defense. His performance against the Raiders was a stark improvement from his week 9 display against the Packers, where he threw a career-low 166 yards. Here’s hoping that Mahomes gets back on track for the rest of the season!
