Tom Brady arrived in Tampa Bay with great expectations on his shoulders. The 43-year old former New England Patriots quarterback signed a two-year deal with the Glazer family-owned NFC South franchise worth around $58 million. But it did not take him much time to cement himself as a Buccaneers legend.
The former 2000 6th round draft pick sealed a 7th Super Bowl title win with a sensational display in Super Bowl LV on the weekend. Tom Brady along with former Patriots teammates – Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown – combined for three touchdowns to hand the Buccaneers their second Super Lombardi trophy.

After last night’s win, Brady now has more Championship rings than any other NFL organization as a whole. He is also the only starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl while playing in both the AFC and the NFC.

He said, “To me, Tom Brady ascended past Jordan, past (Bill) Russell, he already was obviously past (Joe) Montana, but further past Montana, and joined only LeBron James as the team sport athletes that you know, guess what? They’re the system.”

Brady’s dominance in the league has now entered its third decade. He intends to return with the Bucs in 2021 to defend their title.
