A woeful season ended for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They crawled to the Wild Card Round but could not win against the mighty Dallas Cowboys. Everybody wanted to know what the end of the season would mean for Tom Brady. Some are speculating that the seven-time Super Bowl will take his leave from the sport. But some also believe that the elite QB will not stop until he has won his eighth Super Bowl title.
Tampa Tom entered the season with lots of hopes. And it did reflect in the first few games the Pewter Pirates played. However, the team went downhill over time, and eventually, Brady saw himself out of playoff contention. It was also a difficult year for the NFL GOAT because of his personal problems. Therefore, since this was an unusual season, his teammates thought that the 15x Pro Bowl will probably hang his cleats. But that is not all.

Brady has been very candid in the past to express his passion for football. Although he understands that some players do not wish to play forever, he cannot be one of them. In fact, the reason for his and his supermodel wife’s divorce is believed to be his desire to play as long as he can.

Therefore, Tom Brady will take a calculated and analytical approach toward forging a new future for himself in the league. According to Ian Rapoport, the Buccaneers’ shot-caller is taking his time and carefully looking at the best options. And those who know him are aware that the QB would want to have a clear and open mind while making any decision.

For now, Brady has three options that he can follow. Either the star player can retire from the sport and take an analyst job at FOX, or play for Bucs again (though the latter option seems not too viable). But the third option is that Tom Brady could enter free agency as he did in 2020 and find a new home for himself.

For now, Brady will spend his time with his children as he will have to take serious decisions in the offseason.
